We now have celebrites defined in particular genres, not just pop starts etc. We have the cult of the celebrity gardener and the cult of the celebrity cook as well. We also have celebrity cooks as well, and that appear on reality Tv shows " I'm a celebrity get me out of here" ITV1.
How much celebrity-driven media do you consume? Do you consume these texts in spite of celebrity focus or because of it?
I feel that I do consume celebrity driven media. I buy a newspaper or a magazine on a celebrity that I like and find interesting. In all truth, when buying a magazine article I look for interesting texts to consume, rather than normal news with non celebrites. I find reading this more interesting.

Looking at an edition of a national tabloid, in what ways are celebrtity related stories presented in this edition? Account for these representations (1 hour)
By looking at the Sun Newspaper dated March 01 2007. John Terry is represented as a emotional spective to be looked upon. He is shown as an idol to many young aspirers because of the bravery of his defending against Aresnal in the carling cup, in which they won at the end because of the determination to finish and win the game for their captain. He is seen as a respected person that plays a fair game of football.
"The Chelsea hero was stretchered from the pitch after being knocked unconscious"
However, the star will today see the consultant neurologist who treated Chelsea ’keeper Petr Cech for a fractured skull last October".
These are the ways in which the media looks upon to him and how he is represented in the media.
